Jordan Brandman was appointed to the Orange County Water District by the Anaheim City Council to represent the city in Division

Councilmember.
"This important position helps guide the District in its mission to provide reliable, high-quality water to more than
2 million people in Orange County and we welcome Director Brandman," says OCWD General Manager Mike Markus.
Jordan Brandman was elected to the Anaheim City Council in November 2012. He previously served as trustee of the Anaheim

achieved through strategic programs such as the Underground Conversion Program, renovation of reservoirs and advanced renewable
technologies.
Director Brandman's prior professional experience also includes serving as director of workforce development for the
Orange County Business Council (OCBC) where he was responsible for designing and implementing strategies and programs to
help develop a 21st century workforce. Before joining OCBC, he served as a legislative aide in the California State Assembly
from 2004 to 2006, advising on policy issues ranging from education to transportation.
From 2002 to 2004, Director Brandman served as a policy adviser in the Office of the Governor. He advised the governor and
the secretary on education policy issues including high school reform, education technology, career technical education,
school facilities, after school programs, accountability and assessment, and child care/school readiness. From 1998-2002,
Director Brandman worked in environmental planning.
Director Brandman holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of California, Irvine. He is a
lifelong resident of Orange County and currently resides in Anaheim. He is a homeowner in the Anaheim Colony Historic District
and is a small business owner.
He is also active in many community organizations including the Anaheim Family YMCA, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Anaheim,
Anaheim Chamber of Commerce, Orange County Taxpayers Association, Anaheim Historical Society, Anaheim Beautiful, and the
Kiwanis Club of Greater Anaheim.
The District welcomes Director Brandman, and would also like to thank Harry Sidhu for his four years of service on the board.
We wish Director Sidhu continued success in his endeavors.
